Changes in farmer subsidies and new labour condition checks

The act introduces changes to the rules for granting subsidies to farmers under the Common Agricultural Policy. It adds new types of payments for using selected seed materials and biological products. It also introduces checks on compliance with labour law regulations (so-called social conditionality) by the National Labour Inspectorate, which may result in penalties or the need to return part of the subsidies.
