Increased Funding for BSK and SBC Housing Programs
The draft bill increases state budget expenditure limits for social and municipal housing support programs (BSK) and social rental housing (SBC). The new regulations extend the SBC program until 2026, increase the pool of funds for preferential loans granted by BGK, and secure funding for the BSK program for the years 2026–2030.
Key points
BSK Program Limit Increase: Raising the expenditure limit for 2025 to nearly PLN 5 billion and setting limits for 2026–2030 totaling over PLN 39 billion.
SBC Program Extension: Extending the social rental housing program by two years (until 2026) and increasing the BGK credit budget from PLN 4.5 billion to PLN 6.9 billion.
Student Housing Support: Enabling funding for the construction and renovation of areas meeting student housing needs within the BSK program.
Renovation of Vacant Properties: Increased funds are intended to allow for a broader scale of renovations of municipal vacant properties to restore them to use.
Securing KPO Investments: Increasing limits aims to reduce pressure on domestic funds regarding investments in energy-efficient housing construction.
