Easier Phone Contact for Detainees with Legal Counsel
New regulations will make it easier for temporarily detained individuals to contact their legal counsel by phone. Consent for calls will be indefinite and will not require re-obtaining in case of changes in the case, speeding up access to legal aid and reducing bureaucracy.
