Farmers' Advocate: New institution to protect farmers' rights and interests
This law establishes a new Farmers' Advocate institution to protect the rights and interests of farmers in Poland. The Advocate will support farmers in their dealings with public authorities, in legal disputes, and ensure fair treatment and market practices, providing institutional support. The aim is to enhance farmers' legal and economic security.

Independence and qualifications: The Advocate will be appointed for a 6-year term, must have higher education, at least five years of agricultural or legal experience, and an unblemished reputation.
Operating costs: The Advocate's activities are funded by the state budget, with annual expenditure limits of approx. 19-20 million PLN in full years.
