Electronic Court Communication and Streamlined International Cooperation
The draft law introduces the possibility for legal professionals and prosecutors to submit documents electronically to courts in criminal and minor offense cases. Citizens will gain the option to voluntarily receive court documents via an online portal. The changes also concern international criminal cooperation, including covering the costs of deporting wanted persons.

Lawyers, prosecutors, and the State Treasury Solicitor's Office will be able to submit documents to courts in criminal and minor offense cases via the online information portal.
Citizens will be able to voluntarily choose to receive court documents in criminal cases through the information portal.
Electronically submitted and delivered documents will need to be signed with an appropriate electronic signature.
International exchange of requests regarding the execution of sentences (especially non-custodial ones) with certain countries will be facilitated, often directly between courts.
The State Treasury may cover the costs of bringing wanted persons to Poland who are deported from countries with which there are no extradition agreements.
Prosecutor's offices will be obliged to have accounts on the court information portal.
