End of Discounts on Municipal Housing and Support for Seniors

This bill aims to stop the sale of municipal housing with high discounts, increasing the availability of homes for those in need. Simultaneously, it introduces a mechanism allowing seniors to sell their homes to the municipality while retaining the right to continue living there, improving their financial situation and protecting them from fraud.
Key points
Municipalities will no longer be able to sell municipal housing with high discounts; properties will be sold at market value or remain in public stock.
Seniors (over 60) will be able to sell their homes to the municipality and, in return, gain the right to rent the same or another municipal property indefinitely, without income verification.
Municipalities can spread payments for homes purchased from seniors over installments (up to 240 monthly payments), with the state potentially co-financing up to 50% of the cost.
The changes aim to increase the stock of municipal housing and provide seniors with a secure source of additional financial resources.
