National Council of the Judiciary 2024: How judges were selected and court independence defended
This is the annual activity report of the body that selects judicial candidates in Poland. In 2024, the Council proposed nearly 500 new judges and assessors, and also took action to defend the independence of the courts by challenging certain government regulations.
