Fighting Cancer in Poland: A Summary of Government Actions in 2024

In 2024, the government continued its fight against cancer by introducing new, more accurate cervical cancer screening tests and expanding the HPV vaccination program. Patients gained access to 36 new innovative cancer therapies, and hospitals received nearly PLN 414 million for modern diagnostic and treatment equipment.
