Administrative Courts: Less Paperwork, Faster Proceedings
New regulations aim to streamline administrative court proceedings. Citizens and institutions will no longer need to submit certain documents if the court can verify data electronically. Courts will also be able to request opinions from social organizations and combine similar cases, which should speed up dispute resolution.
Key points
Less bureaucracy: You no longer need to submit documents proving your authorization (e.g., power of attorney) if the court can verify them in electronic registers.
Faster cases: The court can combine similar cases into one, which should reduce the waiting time for a judgment.
Expert opinions: The court can ask social organizations or public authorities for opinions relevant to the case, which may help in better understanding complex issues.
Changes apply to proceedings initiated from the date the act comes into force, i.e., 14 days after its announcement.
