Easier Access to Company Information and VAT Status

New regulations make it easier for citizens and businesses to check important company information, including their VAT payer status. This allows for quick verification of a contractor's credibility before cooperation, increasing transaction security. The changes come into effect on October 1, 2025.
Key points
The Central Register and Information on Economic Activity (CEIDG) and the Entrepreneur Information Point (PIP) will provide company data from the VAT taxpayer list.
Access to the VAT taxpayer list will be available directly through the CEIDG and PIP systems, simplifying the verification process.
The Head of the National Revenue Administration will transfer necessary data to the Minister of Economy for display in the PIP system.
