Farmers' Rights Advocate: New Institution to Support Farmers in Poland
The draft law establishes a new institution, the Farmers' Rights Advocate, to protect farmers' interests and provide them with legal support. The Advocate will assist in disputes with authorities, review regulations, and represent farmers in courts, aiming to enhance their economic and legal security. The President of the National Council of Agricultural Chambers will serve as the Advocate, with the institution set to commence operations on January 1, 2026.
