New rules for collecting data on medical facilities and their resources

This law changes how information about medical facilities, their equipment, staff, and supplies is collected and shared. The goal is to improve healthcare planning, especially during crises like natural disasters or national defense. Citizens may experience better access to services due to improved management of medical resources.
Key points
A new Provider Potential Registration System (EPS) will be established, replacing the current system from January 1, 2027.
Medical facilities will be required to submit detailed data to EPS on hospital beds, staff, infrastructure, medical devices, protective equipment, medical gas supplies, and blood.
Data from EPS will be shared with various institutions (e.g., Ministry of National Defense, provincial governors, NFZ) to monitor service availability and support decision-making in crisis situations.
This data will be legally protected and not publicly available for reuse.
The law comes into effect on January 1, 2027, with some data submission starting from July 1, 2027.
