Amendments to the Petty Offenses Code and the Code of Procedure in Petty Offenses Cases
The Sejm adopted amendments to the Petty Offenses Code and the Code of Procedure in Petty Offenses Cases. The changes concern the penalties for offenses specified in Article 82, including replacing the penalty of reprimand with the restriction of liberty. Furthermore, in ticket proceedings for offenses under Article 82 and Chapter XI, a fine of up to PLN 5,000 may be imposed, and up to PLN 6,000 in the case specified in Article 9 § 1.
