Uniformed Family Card: New discounts and benefits for services and their families.

The law introduces the Uniformed Family Card, providing soldiers, officers, and their families with access to discounts on goods and services. Cardholders will benefit from cheaper train tickets, reduced passport fees, and easier access to healthcare in ministry-run facilities.
Key points
Who gets the card: Professional soldiers, territorial defense members, Police, Border Guard, Fire Service, SOP officers, veterans, retirees, and their spouses and children.
Cheaper train travel: A 37% discount on single tickets and a 49% discount on monthly tickets for specific train types.
Passport discounts: A 75% discount on passports for children and 50% for other eligible family members.
Easier access to doctors: Priority access to medical services in military and Ministry of Internal Affairs hospitals and clinics.
Kindergarten priority: Children of service members transferred for duty will have priority in public kindergarten admissions.
New holiday: Establishes May 15th as Uniformed Family Day.
