Changes in Funding for Schools and Vocational Courses
The act introduces new rules on when newly opened kindergartens and schools can receive full financial support. It also ensures that subsidies for individuals who completed specific vocational courses before 2025 will be paid under the old rules. Additionally, the act guarantees funding for vocational skills centers, supporting the development of vocational education.
Key points
New rules specify when newly opened kindergartens and schools can receive full financial support, depending on their start date.
Subsidies for individuals who completed adult high schools, second-level vocational schools, or post-secondary schools, or started vocational courses before January 1, 2025, will be settled according to rules valid in 2024.
Vocational skills centers, selected in 2024 and 2025 competitions, will receive funding for vocational training in the second half of 2026.
Unpaid subsidies, for which the right arose before the act came into force, will be transferred once within 30 days.
