Changes to the rules for granting monetary benefits to village heads.

The bill amends the requirements for the monetary benefit for village heads (sołtys), setting the minimum service period at 90 months. The new regulations allow for the inclusion of service periods before 1990, provided the function was also performed after the entry into force of the Local Government Act. This will allow individuals who previously received refusal decisions to re-apply.
Key points
Setting the required period of service as a village head to not less than 90 months.
Possibility to include the period of service before 1990 if it was continued after the Local Government Act came into force.
Persons who were previously denied the benefit will be able to re-submit an application under the new rules.
