Silesian Language Recognized as Regional Language, Receiving Support.
This law officially recognizes the Silesian language as a regional language, granting new rights and opportunities to its speakers. They will be able to learn Silesian in schools starting from the 2025/2026 school year and receive financial support for its development from 2025. These changes aim to better protect and promote Silesian culture and identity.
