Cheaper electricity: VAT reduction and elimination of extra fees on bills.

The law significantly lowers electricity bills for households and businesses by reducing VAT and eliminating hidden fees. The costs of the energy transition will now be funded by the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS) rather than directly from citizens' pockets. The changes will take effect on January 1, 2026.
