Accelerating Nuclear Plant Construction: New Permits for Preliminary Works
The law introduces a separate permit for preliminary construction works (e.g., excavations, ground reinforcement) before the main building permit for a nuclear power plant is issued. For citizens, this means potentially faster construction of the power plant, but also involves additional fees for the investor (e.g., PLN 1.5 million for a safety opinion).
