New e-health services: Patient Card, home care, and AI in hospitals
The act introduces modern digital solutions in healthcare, making it easier for patients to access treatment in Poland and abroad. Thanks to new systems, doctors will receive AI support for diagnoses, and patients will be able to monitor their health at home more easily.

Patient Card: Introduction of a digital card with key medical data (e.g., blood type, allergies, vaccinations) that can be easily shared with doctors in other EU countries with the patient's consent.
Home Medical Care: A new system will allow automatic transmission of data from home medical devices and health apps directly to the healthcare system.
AI in hospitals: Hospitals will gain access to modern AI tools to help doctors analyze imaging tests (like X-rays or MRIs) faster and more accurately.
Remote medical consultations (e-Consilium): Doctors will be able to consult difficult medical cases with each other online more easily and quickly.
Easier prescription ordering: Patients will be able to easily order repeat prescriptions directly through their Internet Patient Account (IKP).
Medical assistants: Doctors will be able to authorize persons practicing a medical profession or performing auxiliary activities to issue electronic medical documentation (including prescriptions and referrals) or make entries in it on their behalf via the Register of Medical Assistants.
