PPK: electronic notices and end of COVID provisions

The act changes how employers are notified if they fail to sign agreements for managing Employee Capital Plans. Notices will now be delivered electronically via the ZUS profile. The act also abolishes one of the temporary provisions introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Key points
Employers who haven't signed a PPK agreement will receive an electronic notice via their ZUS profile instead of registered mail.
Employers will have 30 days to sign a PPK agreement or inform about an agreement with another institution.
The notice is deemed delivered 14 days after being made available in the system, even if not opened.
The Polish Development Fund will cover ZUS costs for handling these notices.
Article 31zy of the COVID act is abolished – ending one of the temporary pandemic measures.
