Ratification of the Convention on the International Claims Commission for Ukraine
Poland is ratifying an international agreement establishing a Commission to process compensation claims for damages caused by Russian aggression against Ukraine. This will allow Polish citizens and businesses affected by the war to pursue their claims before this new body. The ratification does not oblige Poland to pay compensation, only a membership fee for the Commission's operation, estimated at around 73,000 USD in the first year.
