Changes to disciplinary liability of architects and construction engineers

New regulations simplify disciplinary procedures for architects and construction engineers. Removal from the members list or suspension of rights following a disciplinary court ruling will happen automatically, without requiring an additional resolution. New grounds for removal due to unpaid membership fees have also been introduced.
Key points
Automatic removal or suspension: after a final disciplinary court ruling, the chamber council chairperson makes the entry without additional resolution, speeding up the procedure
New exclusion grounds: removal from members list possible for unpaid fees for one year, or suspension for arrears over 6 months
No voting rights: suspended chamber members cannot vote or hold office in chamber bodies until the penalty is expunged
Professional ban: persons suspended from chamber membership rights cannot perform independent technical functions in construction
Second exam chance: persons penalized with mandatory exam obligation receive an additional 3-6 month term; failure results in loss of qualifications
