Free and Secure School e-Gradebook Integrated with mObywatel App

The law introduces a free, state-provided electronic gradebook ('eDziennik') to eliminate fees charged by commercial apps and improve school-parent communication. The new system will be highly secure, integrated with the mObywatel app, and voluntary for schools.
Key points
No more fees: Parents and students will get completely free access to grades, attendance, and messages via the mObywatel mobile app.
Enhanced security: Student data will be protected by state systems and secured with multi-factor authentication (e.g., Trusted Profile).
Rights of adult students: Students aged 18 and older will have the right to block their parents' access to their school records.
Pilot program: The new system will be tested in selected primary schools during the 2026/2027 school year.
Full rollout: All interested schools can adopt the free eDziennik starting September 1, 2027.
