Special Economic Zones 2023: Record investments, but fewer jobs

In 2023, companies in Special Economic Zones invested a record 167.6 billion PLN, an increase of almost 7%. Despite this, the total number of jobs in the zones slightly decreased by 1.1% to over 385,000. Most of the capital came from Germany and Poland, with the automotive industry remaining dominant.
