Easier path for experienced notary deputies to become notaries

New regulations make it easier for notary deputies with long service to practice as notaries independently. Individuals who have worked in a notary office for at least 10 years and had authorization to perform notarial acts for 5 years will not have to meet the previous deadlines for submitting an application to be appointed as a notary. Periods of work and authorization before the law comes into effect are included in the required service.
