Changes to simplified accounting for NGOs and rural women's circles
The act introduces changes to the rules for keeping simplified records of revenues and costs for non-governmental organizations and rural women's circles. It increases the revenue limit allowing the use of this accounting method and clarifies the rules for opting out.
Key points
The revenue limit for simplified accounting increases to PLN 1,000,000 annually (excluding in-kind donations).
Organizations and circles can opt out of simplified accounting during the tax year, switching to full accounting.
Rural women's circles not conducting business activity can use simplified accounting.
Notification of choosing or opting out of simplified accounting must be submitted to the tax office within specified deadlines.
The act mainly comes into force on January 1, 2026, except for the revenue limit for 2025, which applies from January 1, 2025.
