Electronic reporting for foreign truck transport

New rules require foreign transport companies to report goods shipments electronically before entering Poland. Drivers must have a reference number before crossing the border. The changes also extend deadlines for driver training centers to meet accreditation requirements.
Key points
Foreign companies must report transport in the SENT system before entering Poland and obtain a reference number.
Drivers without a reference number or replacement document must refuse to start transport.
Failure to report means the journey is treated as unauthorized – penalty of PLN 2,000 applies.
Driver training centers have extended deadline to meet accreditation requirements until August 31, 2027.
New rules apply from November 1, 2024, and roadside checks will include verification of reports.
