New Benefit for Centenarians: Rules and Financial Support
This law introduces new rules for granting and paying a special financial benefit to individuals who have reached 100 years of age. Its purpose is to provide additional financial support for Poland's oldest citizens. The benefit will be paid monthly and is subject to indexation.

Individuals who turn 100 years old will receive a monthly benefit of PLN 6246.13.
Most centenarians will receive the benefit automatically if they are already receiving other benefits (e.g., pension, disability allowance).
Those not receiving other benefits can apply to ZUS if they meet citizenship and residency requirements in Poland.
The benefit will be indexed, meaning its amount will be regularly adjusted for economic changes.
The law comes into effect on January 1, 2025.
