Additional Funds for Hospitals and Universities from Treasury Bonds
This bill aims to transfer treasury bonds worth a total of 1.667 billion PLN to 14 public universities and one hospital. These funds are intended to finance investments or repay loans taken for such purposes, enabling these institutions to implement their previously announced development plans.
Key points
The hospital in Otwock will receive 344 million PLN for investments.
Universities in Racibórz, Katowice (Medical University and AWF), Krakow (AGH), Warsaw, Poznań, Słupsk, Zamość, Opole, Lublin, Szczecin, Wrocław, and Piotrków will collectively receive 1.323 billion PLN for development.
Funds from the bonds can only be used for new investments or to repay loans taken for such purposes.
This change will not increase the overall budget expenditure limit for 2024, as it utilizes existing reserves.
