Restoring Original Inscription on Women's Suffrage Monument in Capitol

This resolution aims to restore the original inscription on the Portrait Monument in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda, which commemorates women's suffrage. This means a significant piece of women's rights history, removed in 1921, will be re-displayed, potentially increasing public awareness of this historic achievement.
Key points
The Portrait Monument, honoring suffragists, will have its original inscription restored, after being removed over 100 years ago.
A special ceremony will be held in the Capitol Rotunda to unveil the revised monument, open to the public.
This change highlights the importance of women's rights history and their contribution to U.S. democracy.
