Fiscal State of the Union Act

This Act requires the two Houses of Congress to assemble annually to receive a presentation on the financial position of the Federal Government. The presentation is based on audited financial statements and includes an analysis of deficits, surpluses, and long-term fiscal projections. It is delivered by the Vice President and the leader of the House of Representatives of the opposite party of the Vice President.
