COVID-19 Information Campaigns: Support for Vulnerable Groups

This act aims to establish and support public awareness campaigns about COVID-19, vaccination, and testing, targeting communities most affected by the pandemic. Citizens from minority, rural, and other vulnerable groups will receive reliable information, helping them protect their health and access available services at no cost.
Key points
Government information campaigns: Nationwide campaigns will provide scientifically proven information on COVID-19 vaccination, testing, and protection methods, combating misinformation.
Community support: Campaigns will prioritize communities that have experienced the greatest health disparities related to COVID-19, including racial and ethnic minorities, rural residents, and other vulnerable populations.
Accessibility and language: Information will be accessible, culturally competent, and multilingual, using various media, including social media and local publications.
Grants for local initiatives: Grants will be available for state, tribal, and territorial health departments to conduct their own local public awareness campaigns, reaching those in need.
