Newborn Health Coverage: No Surprise Bills for New Moms.

This act aims to ensure newborns are automatically covered by their parents' health insurance for 30 days after birth. Parents will also have at least 60 days to formally enroll the child in the plan, and insurers must notify them if a bill is received for an unenrolled newborn.
