Equal Uniform Costs for Servicewomen and Servicemen

This act aims to equalize uniform costs for women and men serving in the armed forces. This means women will not incur higher expenses for uniforms solely due to gender. Additionally, they will receive a one-time allowance for past higher costs.
Key points
Uniform costs for service members will be the same, regardless of gender.
If a uniform change affects only one gender, those service members will receive an allowance to cover the costs.
Female service members will receive a one-time financial allowance to compensate for higher uniform expenses incurred over the past 10 years.
