It also introduces the possibility of processing applications at Guantanamo Bay.
Key points
Resumption of the Cuban family reunification program, making it easier to bring loved ones to the US.
Option to process visa applications at Guantanamo Bay, potentially reducing waiting times and travel costs.
Prioritized processing for petitioners with terminal illnesses or for minor children whose parents' visas may expire.
Prohibition of employing individuals recommended by the Cuban regime for application processing at Guantanamo Bay.
