Ban Corporate PACs: Changes to Campaign Finance

This act aims to limit the influence of large corporations in politics by prohibiting them from establishing and operating political action committees (PACs). From now on, only nonprofit organizations will be allowed to form such committees. This means citizens can expect less corporate money influencing elections and political decisions, potentially increasing the importance of individual votes and smaller donations.
Key points
Commercial corporations will no longer be able to establish or operate their own political action committees (PACs).
Only tax-exempt nonprofit organizations will be permitted to form and operate political committees.
Existing commercial corporate PACs must terminate operations within one year of the act's enactment.
