Commission on Unjust Policing: Capitol Attack Investigation and Racial Bias Reform
This Act establishes the U.S. Commission on Unjust Policing to investigate systemic security and intelligence failures leading up to the January 6, 2021, Capitol attack. The Commission will also study potential ties between Capitol Police officers and extremist groups, and recommend reforms to address disparate use of force and racial bias, aiming to enhance public safety and ensure equitable treatment by law enforcement.
