Hospitals' drug discount program eligibility maintained during pandemic.

This bill aims to temporarily maintain access to a drug discount program for hospitals that participated or applied before the COVID-19 pandemic. This allows hospitals to continue purchasing medications at lower prices, potentially helping to ensure drug availability for patients and financial stability for healthcare facilities during a challenging period.
Key points
Hospitals participating in a drug discount program before the COVID-19 pandemic can temporarily retain eligibility, even if they don't meet all standard requirements.
This also applies to hospitals that applied for or began participating in the program during the pandemic.
The goal is to ensure hospitals can continue to acquire discounted medications, supporting their operations and healthcare access for citizens.
