US Flag at Half-Staff for Death of DC Mayor

This bill changes the rules for flying the United States flag at half-staff. Now, the flag will also be lowered in the event of the death of the Mayor of the District of Columbia, similar to how it is done for state governors. This means residents of the District of Columbia will receive the same symbolic honor for their leader as citizens in other states.
