Protection and Citizenship for Non-Citizen Veterans

This act aims to protect non-citizen veterans from being removed from the United States. It also streamlines their path to U.S. citizenship, significantly speeding up the process. Furthermore, veterans who were previously removed may apply to return to the United States.
Key points
Veterans who served honorably cannot be removed from the U.S., unless convicted of serious crimes (e.g., murder, terrorism).
The naturalization process for eligible veterans will be expedited to a maximum of 90 days.
Veterans previously removed will have a pathway to return to the U.S. as lawful permanent residents.
Veterans currently in removal proceedings will have those proceedings canceled.
