Limiting Flags Flown on Federal Property

This new law aims to standardize the types of flags that can be displayed on federal government properties. Citizens will primarily see only specific flags, such as the U.S. flag, state flags, Native American tribal flags, Armed Forces flags, and the POW/MIA flag, which may alter the visual landscape of public buildings.
Key points
Only the U.S. flag, state flags, Indian Tribal government flags, Armed Forces flags, and the POW/MIA flag may be flown on Federal property.
The law does not apply to military housing, allowing other flags to be displayed there.
The goal is to standardize and limit the variety of flags on federal properties.
