More Languages for Medicare Information

New rules will make it easier for Medicare beneficiaries who don't speak English or Spanish to understand important information. Annual Medicare notices will be available in additional languages, helping citizens better manage their health coverage.
Key points
Annual Medicare notices will be translated into more languages beyond English and Spanish.
Priority will be given to languages used by the Social Security Administration and those most frequently requested for retirement benefits.
These changes apply to notices sent before the Medicare open enrollment period starting after January 1, 2022.
