Dietary Supplements Eligible for Health Savings Account Funds

New rules allow you to use money from health savings accounts (HSAs), flexible spending arrangements (FSAs), and health reimbursement arrangements (HRAs) to pay for dietary supplements. This means you can now use funds from these accounts, often pre-tax, to cover the cost of supplements.
Key points
You can now use your HSA funds to pay for dietary supplements.
FSA and HRA funds can also be used for dietary supplements.
This change applies to tax years ending after the law is enacted.
