More Veteran Support Centers in High-Need States

This act aims to increase the number of Vet Centers and outpatient clinics in states meeting specific criteria related to population, density, veteran numbers, or lack of existing facilities. This will provide veterans in these regions with easier access to mental health services and other benefits. The changes are to be implemented within two years of the act's enactment.
Key points
Increase in Vet Centers in states with large populations, high population density, or a high veteran-to-center ratio.
Establishment of new outpatient clinics in remote states lacking such facilities.
Improved access to mental health and medical support for veterans in high-need areas.
