End Filter Bubbles: Choose What You See Online

This act gives you control over how internet platforms, like social media and search engines, present content to you. You'll be able to choose whether algorithms "guess" your preferences or if you prefer to see content without personalization, based only on your direct choices. This means greater transparency and the ability to escape so-called "filter bubbles."
Key points
Internet platforms must offer an option to view content without personalized algorithms that learn about you.
Users will be able to easily switch between personalized and non-personalized content views.
Internet search engines must also provide access to non-personalized search results.
The act aims to increase transparency and user control over what they see online.
