PrEP and PEP Access Act: Free HIV Prevention Medication
This act aims to increase access to HIV prevention medications (PrEP and PEP) by ensuring their free access through health insurance (private, federal, Medicaid, CHIP, VA, DOD, IHS) and prohibiting discrimination in life, disability, and long-term care insurance based on the use of these medications. It also establishes public and provider education campaigns and grant programs for states and organizations.
