Increased Transparency for Tennessee Valley Authority Board Meetings
This new law enhances the transparency of the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) by requiring most of its board meetings to be open to the public. Citizens will gain better access to information about TVA's decisions, potentially impacting their daily lives, especially concerning energy and regional development.

Public notice of these meetings will be provided on the TVA website at least six calendar days in advance.
Minutes and summaries of public meetings will be made publicly available.
The six-day notice rule will not apply to emergency special meetings.
