Ban on Funding Russia from Energy Transactions
This act aims to limit the ability of U.S. financial institutions to engage in energy transactions with Russia that were previously blocked. This means that money from these transactions will not be able to flow to Russia, weakening its ability to fund military activities. For citizens, this means supporting U.S. foreign policy aimed at stabilizing the international situation.

A temporary waiver (up to 90 days) is possible if funds are used for the sale of agricultural commodities, food, medicine, or medical devices.
The ban will expire after 5 years or sooner if Russia ceases its destabilizing activities in Ukraine.
