Easier Payments for Veterans Studying Abroad

New rules will make it easier for veterans to receive educational benefits if they are studying at institutions outside the United States. The Department of Veterans Affairs will need to update its payment system to allow electronic fund transfers directly to foreign institutions. This means veterans won't have to worry about complex procedures if their foreign school doesn't have a U.S. employer identification number or a domestic bank account.
